Hello, I'm Dr. Neufeld!

My Story

Dr. Brent Neufeld graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1997 and has since been involved in many facets of eye care. Over the course of his career, he has owned and operated two primary care optometry practices as well as a vision therapy practice, giving him a broad perspective on patient care and clinic management. Dr. Neufeld has also contributed to the profession more widely, serving on the Alberta Association of Optometrists Council and participating in international eye care projects in developing countries.

Dr. Neufeld completed an externship at the VitreoRetinal Foundation in Memphis, Tennessee, where he focused on ocular disease and neuro-optometry. He has also provided optometric services in medium and maximum security prisons, further broadening his experience with diverse patient populations. His clinical interests include binocular vision and ocular nutrition, and he is dedicated to providing thorough, personalized care to each patient he sees.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Neufeld enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid hockey player, taking to the ice as a goaltender whenever he can.
