When people choose an optometry clinic, they’re not just choosing a place for an eye exam. They’re choosing a team they trust with their health, their family, and their long-term care.
At Eye Live, community has always been at the centre of what we do. Our goal has been to create a clinic that feels personal, welcoming, and genuinely connected to the people we serve.
We’re proud to call SE Calgary home, and we feel incredibly grateful to care for the families of Auburn Bay, Mahogany, Seton, Cranston, Copperfield, McKenzie Towne, New Brighton, and surrounding communities.

Our Story
Eye Live was founded in 2016 by Dr. Brent Neufeld with a vision centred around personalized care, innovation, and supporting families through every stage of life. Over the years, the clinic became a trusted part of the Auburn Bay and South Calgary community.
In 2025, Eye Live became part of the Eyes 360 family, a doctor-led group focused on preserving independent, community-based eye care. But one thing remained the same: the belief that patients deserve thoughtful, honest, relationship-driven care.
We are not a corporate chain built around rushed appointments or sales quotas. We are a locally focused clinic that believes quality care starts with people who genuinely care about their patients and community.
Why Auburn Bay, Mahogany & Seton Matter to Us
There’s something special about SE Calgary. These communities continue to grow quickly, but they still maintain a strong sense of connection and neighbourhood pride. Families support local businesses. Parents recognize familiar faces at activities and schools. People genuinely want healthcare providers who feel approachable and trustworthy.
That’s exactly the type of environment we wanted to be part of. Being embedded in the community allows us to build long-term relationships with patients rather than simply treating appointments as transactions. We see children grow from their first eye exams into teenagers getting contact lenses. We support parents dealing with digital eye strain and seniors navigating age-related vision changes.
That continuity of care is something we value deeply.
A Different Approach to Eye Care

At Eye Live, we believe eye care should be about more than simply updating prescriptions.
Our approach focuses on:
Long-term eye health
Prevention and early detection
Personalized solutions
Education and honest recommendations
Understanding how vision impacts everyday life
We take the time to get to know each patient’s lifestyle, concerns, and goals because vision affects far more than just eyesight. It affects comfort, confidence, productivity, and overall well-being.
One philosophy guides everything we do:
We only recommend what we would recommend for our own family.
That applies to:
The lenses and products we carry
The technology we invest in
The treatment options we suggest
The amount of time we spend with patients
We believe healthcare decisions should never feel pressured or sales-driven.
Locally Owned Means Personally Invested
Being locally owned changes how a clinic operates. We aren’t making decisions based on corporate targets or distant shareholders. We live and work in these communities ourselves, which means we care deeply about the experience patients have every time they walk through the door.
We also believe in supporting the community outside the clinic. Eyes 360 has remained actively involved in youth sports sponsorships and charitable initiatives because we believe healthcare providers should contribute positively to the communities they serve, and we can't wait to extend this same community care to Calgary SE.
To us, community commitment and support is a genuine part of being a good neighbour.
What Patients Often Notice First
Patients often tell us the clinic feels different from what they expected.
We’ve intentionally built an experience that feels:
Warm and welcoming
Educational, not intimidating
Thorough without feeling overwhelming
Modern while still personal
We want people to feel comfortable asking questions and confident they’re receiving recommendations that genuinely fit their needs and lifestyle.
That includes everything from comprehensive eye exams and children’s vision care to dry eye support, specialty lenses, and wellness-focused solutions designed to improve day-to-day quality of life.
More Than Just Vision
One thing we’ve learned over the years is that eye care is rarely just about eyesight.
It’s about helping:
A child succeed comfortably in school
A parent reduce headaches from screen strain
A senior maintain independence and confidence
Someone finally solve chronic eye discomfort
Patients feel more comfortable and connected in everyday life
Those moments matter to us far more than simply handing someone a prescription.
